Objective: To build capacity and conduct policy dialogue with parliamentarians to increase their knowledge on the tools needed to engage in the development of legislation and policies that contribute to gender equality and women’s empowerment in the agricultural, rural and family sectors in order to accelerate progress towards the goals of zero hunger and sustainable development

Training workshops for parliamentarians on gender and investment in agriculture in West Africa

            High-level multi-stakeholder dialogues for each of the countries involved.

WiLDAF, Sub Regional Office for West Africa was established in April 1997. It is part of a pan African women’s rights network established in 1990, initially based in Harare, but now based in Lomé, Togo. It dedicated to promoting and strengthening strategies which link law and development to increase women’s participation and influence at the community, national and international levels.
